Hi everyone,
This won't be too long of a post since I am writing it on my iPad in the middle of the wilderness and my battery is dying. Things are starting to go well on my journey to conquer the evils of flab and release my inner abs. I have now been on my journey for 12 days and it has been tough at times but I am progressing. I have gained 2 belt loops on my waistline. Sometimes my burden seems too hard to bare, but I can hear the immortal words of Samwise the brave yelling the words "share the load". It is at times like these that I have to pull myself together and relalize the importance of my quest. If I fail my friend Stella will perish, and that is something that I am not willing to let happen. The other night I was at the black gate which guards the entrance to the boiling springs of life which can cure any pain. One of the evil spies of the black realm was lurking about as I was trying to infiltrate the realm and soak my legs in the boiling springs. I had to hide out for a while and now I can see that it is going is going to take a lot of planning and patience to make it in after hours, as the black gate closes at 10pm sharp. I can tell that the agent of the enemy knows that something is up. What the spy doesn't know is that I have now lost enough weight to slip in after hours through the steel bars of the gate. This is a side quest that I must undertake. As far as the main quest goes I have made a ton of progress and I believe that I am running ahead of schedule and will reach my goal early and rescue Stella before it is too late.

The Trials have begun
As you know if you are reading this, I took on the challenge of acquiring a six pack over the next three months. By six pack I am not talking about beer or my precious soda. I am talking about raw muscle and toned abs. I know that this journey will make me more disciplined and resolved going further into life. In my own way I am like Frodo leaving the Shire to right wrongs..... well maybe not that intense. It will however be an exciting journey that I hope you will be a part of.
I have already been on my quest for 5 days, and I have seen great progress, I said goodbye to my old friend Soda Pop, and met a new friend named Water. Now at first I noticed that Water was not nearly as fun as my old friend Pop, but over the last 5 days of my quest Water has proven to be my greatest friend and ally. I feel that with his help I will be able to overcome the evil that I have to rid within me to accomplish my goal.

So I began my quest and the very first day I met some hardships. First of all, I had to battle myself in the "Room of Isolation"(racquetball court), I felt as if I was fighting myself for hours only to find out that I had been in the room for 25 minutes, The next trial that I faced with the icy waters of the arctic(swam laps in the freezing cold pool). It was so cold as I made my way across that I my heart felt as if it was coming out of my chest. Following this, I had to clear a path through the murky woods(chest presses), and strait away I had to run for my life(on the treadmill) as I was being chased by an invisible man named Harvey. Why Harvey you ask? Well that was the name that popped into my head, or maybe it had something to do with that Jimmy Stewart film. Anyway, after running for my life I used a robotic contraption like I had never seen before. I powered this contraption with my arms and legs, it helped me move across miles of space and saved my body for tacking on all of the wear and tear. I have since named this great piece of equipment the Lifecycle of Hope and Destiny(elliptical). After finishing all of these challenges I came to the Hot Springs of Regatta and soaked for a while.
All of this is just one day in my journey towards ridding my body of evil and flab. I will keep you all up to date on what is going on in this quest full of danger and great reward.
